What We Collect
When you use Semori, we collect:
- Account info — Email address for login and notifications
- Your saved content — Bookmarks, articles, video links, and their metadata (title, author, tags, etc.)
- Browser extension data — If you install the Chrome extension, it only captures bookmarks when you explicitly act. It does not monitor browsing history.
- Usage data — Basic page views and feature usage via Vercel Analytics (anonymized)
How AI Processes Your Data
To provide smart classification, summaries, and search, your content is sent to:
- Anthropic (Claude) — For content classification, summarization, and chat
- OpenAI — For generating semantic search embeddings
These services receive data only during processing and do not use your data to train their models.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with HTTPS encryption in transit. Only you can access your content.
What We Don't Do
- We don't sell your personal data
- We don't share your content with third parties (except for AI processing)
- We don't serve ads
- We don't track your browsing history
Cookies
We only use essential authentication cookies (JWT token). No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your Rights
- Export — One-click JSON export of all bookmarks from Settings
- Delete account — Contact us and we'll delete all your data
- Delete content — You can delete any bookmark at any time
